Sheila Tobin has joined Network Real Estate at the Grass Valley office location. With a lengthy background in marketing properties, property management and a consistently positive attitude, Sheila is a welcomed addition to the team of over 60 real estate professionals.
Sheila moved to Nevada County from Southern California to be near her daughter and grandchildren. She had previously lived in El Dorado Hills and relished the idea of returning to the beautiful Sierra foothills.
“I love the lakes, rivers, and being close to Tahoe. I wanted to be in Grass Valley because I’ve been visiting for years and I love the people. The sense of community is so evident here,” say Sheila.
Licensed since 1996, for 10 years Sheila was the Vice President of CA Residential Property Management for a real estate developer in Southern California. She was responsible for the marketing, sales, financial performance and asset preservation of approximately 9,000 homes and apartments. Prior to that Sheila was VP over the Northern California operations for the same company. She boasts vast experience in planning and lease up of luxury apartment homes and over 25 years of experience in property renovations.
Because of her extensive background in real estate, Sheila has gleaned valuable knowledge regarding marketing properties. From coordinating and overseeing decoration of model homes and clubhouses to advertising both in print and online, she has experience with it all.
However, perhaps most important are Sheila’s outstanding integrity and kind demeanor. It’s clear that she truly lives by the motto that, “Life is too short to be unhappy. Be happy, kind and treat everyone with respect.” Her goals? To exceed client expectations by providing excellent customer service.
“I’ve spent my entire career helping people find the right home, no matter their price range. I’m all about finding solutions that meet the needs of my clients no matter their circumstances.”
On days when she’s not serving her clients, Sheila is volunteering at the Pleasant Valley Horse Foundation, a nonprofit that rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes or retires horses in need. She’s also actively involved in the local Kiwanis and is working towards obtaining her Pilates teaching certification.
