Susan Arnold was born and raised on a small horse/cattle ranch in the Napa Valley. While growing up she was heavily involved in 4-H and loved riding & showing Quarter horses. Susan’s father owned a construction business in the Bay Area that invested in and developed residential and commercial properties, giving her a glimpse into the housing industry. Susan received a degree in Sociology from Washington State University in 1989. There, she also studied Art, Interior Design and Architecture. During summer breaks, she worked as a Tour Guide at Spring Mountain Vineyards (The film set, for the old night time soap, Falcon Crest). Having been an aviation enthusiast since she was a little girl, Susan was happily employed with United Airlines for 17 years as a Flight Attendant based in Washington D.C. and San Francisco. She moved to Nevada City with her husband in 1996, drawn to its small town feel and affordability. She is extremely grateful to have raised her three children here. Susan appreciates the surrounding beauty of the Sierra Foothills and all that it has to offer. She enjoys swimming in the Yuba River, camping at Lake Spaulding, hiking and riding the Pioneer Trail and many others. Before she obtained her real estate license, she worked for a Nevada County Mega Agent assisting with marketing and listings.
Susan eventually began her own business with Keller Williams as a licensed real estate agent. She moved to Network Real Estate in January 2017 and enjoys the atmosphere of professionalism and the ongoing training & support. What she most enjoys about real estate is finding out what her clients value and what is most important to them.
