Dick describes himself as “a people person”. He is a great listener. “I am very supportive of the needs and desires of others.”
As a refugee from the asphalt jungles of southern California, he moved to Nevada County in 1980. He has been continually licensed since 1967 and a Realtor since 1970. He is also a state certified residential appraiser and a founding member of the National Association of Realtors Appraisal Section.
Dick is a past president of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 535, Nevada County. He is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2655 in Nevada City, the American Legion Post 130 in Grass Valley and the “All Services” Honor Guard. He has special empathy for his fellow veterans.
Life’s experiences have led Dick to realize that respectful negotiations lead to common agreement. He believes in valuing other’s opinions and also in giving more service than is expected.
Dick cherishes the private side of his busy life with his family, friends and a flock of treasured pets.
Although not an “honors-oriented” agent, Dick has received many honors and awards and has been actively involved in the professional organizations and committees that operate in the background of the Real Estate Profession. Following is a summary of his involvement:
